Quality Meat Products

Here at Huston Farms, we proudly supply fresh and local
meat products to the Cottage Grove area. Our beef is raised and
processed within a couple miles of Cottage Grove’s downtown. Our meat products are utilized by select commercial kitchens in town.

Responsibly Raised

We seek to produce high-quality local meat products that are wholesome and fresh. Our cattle are raised by a BQA (Beef Quality Assurance) certified herdsman and handled using low-stress methods. We do all that we can to ensure the health and comfort of our cattle while they are in our care.

Our cattle graze on pasture with the cows until weaning. Then, they are separated and fed rations specifically formulated by our nutritionist. This helps us produce high-quality beef suitable for up-scale dining. Our rations contain quality ingredients including grains (such as corn and soy), by-products from other industries (such as dried distillers grains), vitamins, and minerals. In addition to these ingredients, our cattle are allowed free-choice access to quality hay and/or pasture depending on the time of year.
